RESTORATIVE SUNDAY AFTERNOON
SESSIONS
These sessions are about self-care and are usually held once a month or in conjunction with other workshop offerings .
Sunday sessions are an offering to take some down time & restore the nervous system.
An offering to drop into the surrounding nature, your body, , the workings of the mind .
An offering to let go and receive deep rest..
The descent to deep rest begins practices and techniques that invite you to drop into the awareness of where you may be holding patterns of tension in the body.
As you start to unravel , the overthinking mind calms as the "heady" energy moves downwards and transmutes into feeling more centered grounded and connected to self .
We move then into the deep rest practice of Restorative Yoga where you are supported into comfort and ease through the cocooning of blankets , pillows ,blocks and bolsters.
As the body surrenders to stillness, so does the mind, bringing you into a state of still quiet presence.
This opens up an opportunity to welcome in deep relaxation and rest helping restore, replenish and heal.
